Das Seniorenheim St. Maria-Josef ist eine Einrichtung, die ältere pflegebedürftige Menschen betreut und versorgt.

Das Seniorenheim St. Maria-Josef liegt inmitten der schönen Altstadt von Ahrweiler im Ahrtal. Die Stadt Ahrweiler liegt hinter einem vollständig erhaltenen historischen Mauerring und lädt mit ihren zahlreichen Fachwerkhäusern, kleinen Geschäften, Cafés, Restaurants und Weinstuben zum Verweilen ein. Die Städte Bonn, Köln und Koblenz sind per Bahn leicht und schnell zu erreichen.

Die Kreisstadt Ahrweiler (ca. 27.000 Einwohner) verfügt über eine gute ärztliche Versorgung. Mehrere Supermärkte, Apotheken, Hallen- und Freibad, viele Sportvereine und ein gut ausgebautes Fahrrad- und Wanderwegenetz stehen den Freiwilligen zur Verfügung.

The city of Ahrweiler lies behind a completely preserved historical wall ring and invites with its numerous half-timbered houses, small shops, cafes, restaurants and wine bars to linger. The cities Bonn, Cologne and Koblenz can be easily and quickly reached by train. The district town of Ahrweiler (about 27,000 inhabitants) has a good medical care. Several supermarkets, pharmacies, indoor and outdoor pool, many sports clubs and well-developed bicycle and hiking trails are available to the volunteers.
