DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANIZATION: The Gaia Foundation performs tasks of:
- Protection of animals avoiding their abuse
- Strengthen compliance with legal regulations to prevent and condemn animal abuse.
- Educate, raise awareness and disseminate solidarity values ​​to eliminate animal abuse
- Promote solidarity volunteering.
The work of the foundation contributes towards the mitigation of climate change, conservation, protection and sustainability of the environment and towards the awareness and awareness of a more inclusive, supportive and sensitive society, promoting values ​​of equality and non-discrimination, regardless of the species , race, skin color, gender, language, religion, nationality, ethnic or social origin, economic status, disability, sexual orientation, political opinion or any other nature.

OBJECTIVES:
The main objective of the foundation is to rescue, rehabilitate and provide decent living conditions to all animals that have been victims of abuse. In addition, as part of the solution to this problem, the foundation is committed to education, awareness and awareness of society in general about the importance of evolving towards a more empathic, supportive and inclusive society with our planet partners: non-human animals The foundation, through its multiple dissemination actions in social networks, digital and face-to-face campaigns, promotes values ​​of environmental sustainability and mitigation of climate change through healthy and sustainable food with the environment: food based on plant foods.

TARGET GROUPS: The foundation has two target groups:
A) Donors: They are people who contribute to the foundation through their donations. The foundation accepts both regular and regular donations. Currently the foundation has:
2,919 regular donors;
468 specific donors;
7,120 donors in the teaming platform.

B) Volunteers: The foundation receives long-term volunteers (volunteers who collaborate in the work of the foundation for a certain time (min 30 days max 90 days)) and eventual volunteers (volunteers who collaborate in the work of the foundation once a month , periodically).
Currently the foundation has:
- 39 eventual volunteers.
- 23 long-term volunteers.

ORDINARY ACTIVITIES:
1) Open House Days: Guided tours starting from the green paths that are around the foundation, continuing to the facilities of the foundation and its inhabitants. The visits have a duration of 3 hours and in each session between 12 - 15 visitors participate.

2) Awareness and awareness talks: Organized talks in which both generic and technical content are delivered on:
- Climate change and ways to mitigate it through food.
- The conservation, protection and sustainability of the environment through waste minimization and management.
- Equality and non-discrimination between the species that inhabit the planet.
- The rights of animals, respect for dignity and the fight against animal abuse.
- The sense of responsibility, community and solidarity before our planet and all the beings that inhabit it.

3) Participation in events: throughout the year, the foundation participates in multiple events, where it disseminates the work done by the foundation through promotional stands. Among the most prominent events, held annually, are:
- Vegan Fair of Barcelona,
- Sabadell VegFest,
- 100% Animal Festival
- Anniversary of the Foundation.

4) Volunteer training courses: Volunteer training courses are offered that include a theoretical part (4 teaching hours) and practice (8 practical hours). In training, the volunteer receives the necessary knowledge for the care and care of animals and the maintenance of infrastructure. Once these modules have been completed, depending on the type of profile, volunteers receive specific training according to the activity they are going to carry out.

5) Waste management work generated through reuse, recycling and composting.

6) Care and attention of rescued animals that live in the foundation.

7) Logistics, coordination and control of warehouse / inventory.
OTHER RELEVANT ASPECTS:
At the foundation we work continuously to become a “self-sufficient foundation”, energetically speaking, and have an “ecofriendly” lifestyle, that is, 100% environmentally friendly. In this regard, we intend:
- Generate 100% of the electricity used through renewable energy;
- Efficiently manage the waste generated as part of the activity of the foundation.

DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN: La fundación Gaia realiza labores de:
- Protección de animales evitando su maltrato
- Potenciar el cumplimiento de la normativa legal para evitar y condenar el maltrato animal.
- Educar, concienciar y difundir valores de solidaridad para eliminar el maltrato animal
- Promover el voluntariado solidario.
Las labores de la fundación contribuyen hacia la mitigación del cambio climático, la conservación, protección y sostenibilidad del medio ambiente y hacia la concienciación y sensibilización de una sociedad más inclusiva, solidaria y sensible, promoviendo valores de igualdad y no discriminación, sin importar la especie, raza, color de piel, género, idioma, religión, nacionalidad, origen étnico o social, condición económica, discapacidad, orientación sexual, opinión política o de cualquier otra índole.

OBJETIVOS:
El principal objetivo de la fundación es rescatar, rehabilitar y proporcionar unas condiciones de vida digna a todos los animales que han sido víctimas de maltrato. Además, como parte de la solución a este problema, desde la fundación se apuesta por la educación, la sensibilización y concienciación de la sociedad en general sobre la importancia de evolucionar hacia una sociedad más empática, solidaria e inclusiva con nuestros compañeros de planeta: los animales no humanos. La fundación, a través de sus múltiples acciones de difusión en redes sociales, campañas digitales y presenciales, promueve valores de sostenibilidad ambiental y mitigación del cambio climático a través de una alimentación saludable y sostenible con el medio ambiente: la alimentación basada en alimentos vegetales.

GRUPOS DESTINATARIOS: La fundación cuenta con dos grupos destinatarios:
A)Donantes: Son personas que contribuyen a la fundación a través de sus donativos. La fundación acepta tanto donaciones puntuales como regulares. Actualmente la fundación cuenta con:
2.919 donantes regulares;
468 donantes puntuales;
7.120 donantes en la plataforma teaming.

B)Voluntarios: La fundación recibe voluntarios larga duración (voluntarios que colaboran en las labores de la fundación durante un tiempo determinado (min 30 días max 90 días)) y voluntarios eventuales (voluntarios que colaboran en las labores de la fundación una vez al mes, de manera periódica).
Actualmente la fundación cuenta con:
- 39 voluntarios eventuales.
- 23 voluntarios larga duración.

ACTIVIDADES ORDINARIAS:
1) Jornadas de Puertas abiertas: Visitas guiadas partiendo por los senderos verdes que se encuentran en los alrededores de la fundación, continuando a las instalaciones de la fundación y sus habitantes. Las visitas tienen una duración de 3 horas y en cada sesión participan entre 12 – 15 visitantes.

2) Charlas de sensibilización y concienciación: Charlas organizadas en las cuales se imparten contenidos tanto genéricos como técnicos sobre:
- El cambio climático y formas de mitigarla a través de la alimentación.
- La conservación, protección y sostenibilidad del medio ambiente a través de la minimización y gestión de residuos.
- La igualdad y no-discriminación entre las especies que habitan el planeta.
- Los derechos de los animales, el respeto a la dignidad y la lucha contra el maltrato animal.
- El sentido de responsabilidad, comunidad y solidaridad ante nuestro planeta y todos los seres que lo habitan.

3) Participación en eventos: a lo largo del año, la fundación participa en múltiples eventos, donde difunde la labor realizada por la fundación a través de stands promocionales. Entre los eventos más destacados, celebrados con carácter anual, se encuentran:
- Feria vegana de Barcelona,
- Sabadell VegFest,
- Festival 100% Animal
- Aniversario de la Fundación.

4) Cursos de formación al voluntariado: Se imparten cursos de formación al voluntariado que incluye una parte teórica (4 horas lectivas) y práctica (8 horas prácticas). En la formación, el voluntario recibe los conocimientos necesarios para la atención y cuidado de los animales y el mantenimiento de las infraestructuras. Una vez realizados estos módulos, dependiendo del tipo del perfil, los voluntarios reciben formaciones específicas según la actividad que vayan a realizar.

5) Labores de gestión de residuos generados mediante la reutilización, el reciclaje y el compostaje.

6) Labores de cuidado y atención de los animales rescatados que habitan en la fundación.

7) Labores de logística, coordinación y control de almacén/inventario.

OTROS ASPECTOS RELEVANTES:
En la fundación trabajamos continuamente para convertirnos en una “fundación autosuficiente”, energéticamente hablando, y tener un estilo de vida “ecofriendly”, es decir, 100% respetuosa con el medio ambiente. En este sentido, pretendemos:
- Generar el 100% de la electricidad utilizada a través de energías renovables;
- Gestionar eficientemente los residuos generados como parte de la actividad de la fundación.
