Popis organizace:

Foro Joven Toledo was born as a federation of youth local organizations representing youngs people of Toledo in order to provide services to them. Because of the special characteristcs of the city and the urban structure and the distances between the neighborhoods it was needed to creat a meeting point for the youth organizations. Foro Joven allow that all the organizations can share their activities in order to obtein furder dissemination and more participation and implication of young people.
In this way, it will be possible to strengthen the operational capacity of all member entities and to weave a collaboration network between collectives.
Since in recent years youth policies have been kept apart from the real needs of their recipients, Foro Joven also aims to be a communication bridge between young people and those responsible for political decision-making.
This federation is composed, today, by fifteen active entities in the locality with common and complementary objectives.
The objectives of Foro Joven Toledo are:
a) Encourage the participation of young people in the different associations and entities of society.
b) Represent the young group of the city of Toledo, their interests and concerns.
c) Create training spaces for young people.
d) Help young people identify the Foro as a space where they are allowed to present their proposals, with the aim of improving their conditions in the city of Toledo.
e) To facilitate access to the resources of the Department of Youth of Toledo at their disposal, and information on those issues that affect them as a group.
f) Promote the processes of youth participation in the cultural, social, economic and political development of the city.
g) To reinforce the cohesion between the different associations that dedicate themselves to the intervention in this population group and to consolidate as an autonomous space, detached from any political ideology.
h) To seek the inclusion of young people in social exclusion risk, or belonging to ethnic and/or linguistic minorities.
i) Generate a joint action movement through collaborative work between associations and/or youth entities or providers of youth services.
j) To defend and promote the equality of all people as a fundamental principle.

Tato organizace je ochotná přijmout pro různé typy projektů dobrovolníky, kteří se nacházejí v situaci, která jim účast na dobrovolnických aktivitách komplikuje, a to z následujících kategorií:

• Překážky sociálního charakteru
