Popis organizace:

InterAktion is an organisation active in the field of human rights, sustainability, integration of the young people from migrant families and refugees, aiming to encourage intercultural dialogues between the people from different backgrounds and cultures through non-formal educational methods. The founding of InterAktion results from a defined need for additional support of refugees during their process of integration. We are organising local activities for young refugees and also Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 projects.

InterAktion is active in Trofaiach, a city with a population of 10.000 inhabitants and several families with migration background. In the past years we were working mostly with unaccompanied minor refugees from Syria and Afghanistan, supporting them in their integration process, providing them with language training, non-formal education, sexual education, human rights education, cultural happenings and events with the locals.
We also have an office in the centre of Graz, the second biggest city of Austria. Graz is a multicultural and multilingual city, with 17 % of population (more than 46.000 people) having migration background.

Our target group considering the ESC, are European volunteers, who would work in Austria with young people between 18-22 from Afghanistan, Syria, Gambia, Somalia, Eritrea, Guinea or other third countries living in AUstria.

Zaměření v rámci začleňování

Tato organizace je ochotná přijmout pro různé typy projektů dobrovolníky, kteří se nacházejí v situaci, která jim účast na dobrovolnických aktivitách komplikuje, a to z následujících kategorií:

• Kulturní odlišnosti
• Překážky ekonomického charakteru
• Překážky zeměpisného charakteru
