4H Kälviä is non governmental organization working in Kälviä which is small rural area part of town of Kokkola in region of Keski-Pohjanmaa. 4H Kälviä shares aims, values and target groups national and international 4H organisation.
In the 4H organisation, children and adolescents grow to become responsible and enterprising adults. The activities take into account the different stages of children’s development, focusing on learning by doing.
The 4H Club instils practical skills and knowledge with the help of professional instructors. Training and courses provided by 4H further build on these competencies. The activities help children become active citizens, entrepreneurs and employees. Our target group is children and young people aged 6-28 years old. Regular activities: clubs (handcraft, cooking, nature, animals, sports), after school clubs, trainings (entrepreneurship, working life skills), camps, happenings, trips and youth exchange programs. A big part of our work includes different projects. In this projects children and young people are involved in preparation, implementation and evalution.

Tato organizace je ochotná přijmout pro různé typy projektů dobrovolníky, kteří se nacházejí v situaci, která jim účast na dobrovolnických aktivitách komplikuje, a to z následujících kategorií:

• Překážky ekonomického charakteru
• Překážky vzdělávacího charakteru
• Uprchlíci
