"Kalbų ir kultūrų lizdelis" is a public institution that provides interesting and creative foreign languages (English, Italian, German, and Russian) courses, for children of age 5 to 12 years old. During the activities, children learn languages ​​by involving themselves in active communication, playing, singing, and engaging in other educational activities that meet their needs. The methods used in "Kalbų ir kultūrų lizdelis" are different from those most commonly used in general education schools. The main principle of teaching is the experience of success. We seek to help each child to gain self-confidence that lack is the biggest problem in learning foreign languages
The main purpose of the "Kalbų ir kultūrų lizdelis" is to develop foreign language learning and its practical use.
The main task is:
- to organize activities in which children would be provided with a safe environment, meaningful and various educational activities;
- to organize activities that promote children's creativity, self-expression, development of foreign language competencies.
