Organisatsiooni kirjeldus:

Volunteer centers are diverse meeting places built on the premises of volunteering and local wishes, taken care of by employees in interaction with volunteers, teams and associations, industry and the municipality. Together we create good and inclusive societies.

Brønnøy Volunteer Centre has existed since 2003, has 3 permanent employees, consists of 18 different clubs and associations, has approx. 60 support members. BUA, a lending center of sports and activity equipment for children and young people, is also affiliated with the organisation. After the start of BUA in 2021, the activity has only increased and increased. We run a second-hand shop and arrange activities such as knitting club, dinners, café, language café, language training, sing-with-us meetings and we offer companion services to doctors/hospitals. We are in the start-up phase with a new project, a Small Job Central. There we will offer help to the elderly and those with health challenges.

Social interaction for single people is of great importance to us. Our regular staff consists of approx. 30 volunteers. They are involved permanently and take responsibility for various activities. It is very important to us that those who contribute regularly are appreciated for the work they do and have some pleasant experiences outside of work.

The centre's main target group is the Volunteers. The bonus is that the elderly and others can get good help from volunteers when needed.
