De stichting "Marc de Montalembert" ondersteunt projecten waarmee jongeren uit landen rond de Middellandse Zee de diversiteit en rijkdom van andere mediterrane culturen kunnen ontdekken.
The Marc de Montalembert Foundation wants to foster more cultural understanding among young people and stimulate intercultural dialogue in the Mediterranean world. Every year the foundation grants a grant to young people from the Mediterranean region to carry out a cultural project.
Am I eligible for this?
Yes, if you are not yet 28 years old, come from a Mediterranean country and want to implement an original intercultural project that fits your career choice. To register, you must make a proposal for a study project in a cultural area of your choice. This must be done in one or more Mediterranean countries, as long as it is not your own .
How do I register?
You can register every year from October 1 to December 31. Please note that your application forms can be requested until November 15th. Your registration must contain a letter of introduction in PDF format.
If you are awarded the grant of 7000 euros, you will be invited to receive it in Rhodes (Greece).
You then have one year to report on the insights and experiences that you have gained during your project. This is allowed in any form, as long as it can be published and distributed. You can even stay at the foundation's headquarters in Rhodes for up to six months to prepare your report.
