“Dig In, Community Out: Volunteers in Action”wants to promote the intercultural dialogue between the Italian and Israeli societies through the involvement of active volunteers in community-oriented initiatives. The objectives of the project are: - to support the cultural exchange and intercultural learning among young people, volunteers and local community not only through the presence of Italian volunteers in the project and the cultural variety inside the local community, but also through the interaction of volunteers with the target groups and the creation of activities by volunteers supporting the process of exchange; - to improve the professional and personal competences among volunteers to provide them better chances of employability in their future through specific volunteering experiences in fields required by the labour market and their understanding of the volunteering experience as an important process for their development; - to spread the importance of solid
