VOLUNTEERING AT "IL SEME" / CARITAS ONLY EU CANDIDATES

Volunteers will be involved in the activities of the association IL SEME in Senigallia, which aims to promote solidarity, citizenship, inclusion and support for disadvantaged people within the diocese of Senigallia. The association gathers all the people who volunteer within the services managed by Caritas Senigallia, which include first reception centers, apartments for the temporary reception of people in need, awareness-raising activities and other social services aimed at serving the most vulnerable people. In particular, the volunteers will be involved in the following activities: Support at the SOLIDARITY CENTRE - facility for adults who are homeless or resident in the area, who are unemployed and consequently homeless Support at the SHELTER HOUSE FACILITIES with the presence of minors accompanying children to medical appointments/vaccinations; shopping management for users; cleaning of common areas, garden and laundry (alone or together with mothers)
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
The accommodation is rented by the Supporting (Coordinating) Organisation in proximity of the city centre. The volunteer will be accommodated in double room divided by gender. The flat will be shared with the other volunteers and has all the needed facilities. Transport is offered by the Host.

We are open to involve any kind of participants regardless of their origins, culture, education, language, sexual orientation and beliefs. We work inclusively and we would like to give the opportunity to everybody who is motivated and interested in the objectives and activities of the project. The volunteers will be involved in all the phases of our work, from the planning of the activities, to the implementation and evaluation. Therefore, we would like to host volunteers that enjoy doing activities with people in cooperation with others.
