Opis
We are searching for 1 volunteer for the APPROVED project in the Kindergarten “Wellenreiter". The volunteer will get familiar with the "on the move and health oriented" educational method of the Kindergarten by supporting pedagogues in their daily activities. Sport, movement and healthy lifestyle are the key words in the work at the Kindergarten. The volunteer will help the pedagogues with on the move exercises, will communicate with children and lead them to a more health-conscious lifestyle. Furthermore, the volunteer will have the opportunity to organize his/her own cultural or linguistic projects. Main project activities: - Look after 1 to 5 year-old- kids - Plan and implement movement oriented offers (aged-based movement exercises/ sport activities) - Plan and implement thematic workshops (handicrafts, music, sustainability) - Organize festivities and/or excursions - Plan intercultural activities (about his/her own country, language, culinary culture).
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
Accommodation: The volunteer will live in one of our 4 accommodations for the ESC volunteers in Potsdam. Each volunteer has his/her own room. All necessary living arrangements for the whole duration of the project have been done. Food: A monthly food allowance of 288,00 € will be provided via bank transfer. Pocket money: 180,00 € will be provided via bank transfer. Local Transport: A monthly travel card to use public transport within the area of Brandenburg/Berlin federal states will be made available to the volunteer. The volunteer will also receive a bike.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
Our organization offers to the volunteer the possibility to take part in a language course, according to their current level of German. All participants must participate in two mandatory seminars during their project: On-Arrival and Mid-Term Training. These are opportunities to meet volunteers from other countries, gain understanding of the EU values and reflect on the ongoing project.
