Place: Lorca (Region of Murcia), Spain Duration: till 31st od December 2019 Starting date: 17th of June 2019 (or when you can) Deadline for applications: 3rd of JUNE 2019 The volunteer is going to support the team of the elderly center and will be able to propose his/her own activities. The center has already welcomed volunteers and currently their collaborating with one volunteer. Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
Living in Lorca: The volunteers would share an apartment with other volunteers (having a single room), not far away from the Centre of activities. The volunteers will receive monthly 5€/day of pocket money and 150€ for food (even though there is a possibility to have meals in the Centre, if volunteers wish to do so. In that case the volunteers would only receive money for food for weekends and holidays-5€ per day). This project is coordinated by Cazalla Intercultural, which offers to EVS volunteers all support in the preparation, mentoring and linguistic support during the Project.

It is valued as positive, without being exclusionary, the capacity of volunteer to adapt to a new culture and new customs as well as his/her ease of adaptation to a multicultural environment, because that will be his/her work environment. In addition, it is welcomed his/her lack of cultural prejudices and initiative. According to the characteristics of the activities it is also assessed as positive if the volunteer has been interested in social issues before
