YOUTH PARTICIPATION AND LEISURE TIME IN BASSANO DEL GRAPPA

Opis
The volunteer will be involved in the team of youth workers of “Etabeta” to support them in organizing activities concerning children and youth leisure (sports and outdoor activities), or specific projects, events or activities designed to promote the active participation of young people of the local community (for example seminars in secondary schools aimed to promote the respect of laws, or also in the organization of parties) or specific projects on intercultural education youth. The volunteer therefore act in different contexts: the hostel managed by the organisation, the office (activities’ planning), the youth gathering places of the municipality of Bassano del Grappa and neighboring (for the realization of the activities), with particular attention to the support of the animators in after-school activities and in creative and expressive labs for the development of life skills.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
Food: at the beginning of the month the volunteer will receive money in cash (5 lunches per week are in the community and also some dinner) • Accommodation: private room with private toilet and a shared kitchen and dining room (with a educational community coordinated by the receiving organization called Ramaloch), in an amazing italian "villa" (https://www.facebook.com/VillaAngaranSG/), which have two wings, one used for private accomodations and the other one for the organization's activities and services. In Villa there is a restaurant, a bar, a meditation centre, ....
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
Language support: it will be organized an Italian language course with a professional teacher (80 hours). Also the volunteer will have the chance to use the Online linguistic support, an online course provided by EU Mentoring with a professional coach 1 time per month.
Profil účastníka
Flexibility, dynamic, motivation in a voluntary activity, interest in youth fields, and commitment to completing the service (we need to avoid departure before the end of the project). We only accept long-term candidates! (nine months). The candidates chosen will be contacted by email after 2 September for an online interview.
