Naturland is the largest international association for organic agriculture. With 125,000 farmers, beekeepers, and fish farmers in more than 60 countries around the world, we stand for the fact that ecological, social, and fair management is a successful project worldwide. In the framework of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), we are looking for a volunteer to support the department “International Capacity & Community Building” Your tasks: • contribute to shape the communication towards and between international members and assist the setting of different communication tools like Website and Newsletter • participate in international and European events and fairs • contribute to develop the Naturland Academy, an on-site and online training concept • research on topics related to organic farming, fair trade, organic regulation and aquaculture, climate change adaptation strategies, sustainability, biodiversity etc.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
Single room in a youth residence in Munich. The kitchen and bath is shared with 10 people (men and women). The residence has an own garden, diverses facilities and common rooms available. Naturland will provide a free public transport ticket, as well as ca.400€ monthly for food and other expenses (usual ESC volunteering conditions) The duration of the volunteering opportunity is anticipated to be 10-12 months subject to availability of the accommodation.

We give you the opportunity to learn more about organic and sustainable agriculture, sustainable food production, fair trade issues, quality insurance in complex international value chains and their influence on the environment. You will work in an intercultural context and experience a democratic and farmer's ruled international organization. You will acquire competences in digital education system and communication
Profil tal-parteċipant
• You are between 18 and 27 years old with the nationality and reside in one country eligible to the European Solidarity Corps Program • You’re interested in sustainable and organic agriculture • You have a sound knowledge of English. Spanish and/or Italian and German will be an advantage. • You have good communication skills and you are a creative person. • You are interested in learning or already have knowledge in the areas of social media or newsletter
