Join our vibrant team of 12 volunteers at Marttinen Youth Centre for an exhilarating 25-days (including travelling 2 days) ESC project dedicated to creating a Snow Art Festival and enhancing facilities for youth. This immersive experience invites volunteers to contribute to the local community, fostering creativity, inclusivity, and community engagement. Key project tasks include: Snow Art Festival: Collaborate with Marttinen's creative team to plan and execute a Snow Art Festival. Volunteers will engage in designing captivating snow sculptures, organizing art workshops, and hosting an inclusive open house event for families, young people, and children from the local community. Personal Projects: Volunteers will embark on personal projects aimed at improving Marttinen's facilities and activities for young people. From enhancing recreational spaces to implementing innovative programs, each volunteer will have the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the youth center.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
Volunteers will reside in comfortable shared accommodation at Marttinen's youth center, fostering a sense of community living. Each volunteer will have their private space to relax and recharge. Marttinen will provide nourishing meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring volunteers are energized for their daily activities. Travel expenses for approved flight arrangements will be reimbursed. Volunteers, (in collaboration with their support organization if available), will be responsible for securing suitable flights within the project's specified dates and budget.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
One pre-departure meetings will take place between Marttinen's international youth work team, (supporting organization), and volunteers. Regular mentoring sessions will guide volunteers through their projects, ensuring valuable insights and skill development. Continuous support from Marttinen's staff will be available, addressing any challenges and providing encouragement throughout the project.

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers aged 18 to 29 who have a passion for creativity, community engagement, and youth development. This project is ideal for those who are open to new experiences, committed to making a positive impact, and excited to contribute to the vibrant atmosphere at Marttinen Youth Centre.
