The volunteers will be part of the team of volunteers at the Salesian Youth Center Celje. Priorities that volunteers will carry out activities within the youth center itself - assistance and socializing on the playground and in club rooms, work with children and youth, preparation and implementation of activities with children and youth - playing board games, sports activities. Also, during the winter holidays when organizing various activities for the visitor center- both the daily program during the school year and the initial program during the summer holidays. In addition to working with children and young people who visit the center, the volunteers come together and work with a home team of volunteers who come to the center. It is expected that the volunteers will carry out a project (workshops, event, etc.) during the exchange, as they will also gain new knowledge and competences.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
Volunteers will be accommodated in furnished rooms with a bathroom, which is located in the same building as the youth center and in rooms are internet too. Volunteer can use washing machine. They will also have a kitchen for preparing meals - the kitchen is in sharing with other who live in same building. In the immediate vicinity of the center there are also several grocery stores and shopping malls where they can buy everything they need. By arrangement, volunteers will have transportation to our center. They will have a monthly pocket money that they can use for their own needs
Taħriġ matul l-attività
For volunteers will be organized two seminars during the duration. They will also meet with other volunteers and exchange their knowledge, experience, and ideas. If desired, volunteers will also be able to learn the Slovenian language or take part in other available courses.
Profil tal-parteċipant
We are looking for one or two young volunteers who should be of legal age - between 18 and 30 years old and should have the joy of working with children and young people, as our center works with this group of participants and visitors to the center. We expect volunteers to be communicative, responsible, self-initiative, and like to work in a team. It is desirable that they already have experience with volunteering. Interested volunteers should submit a CV in English. Volunteer can come for short term - 6 months or long term - 1 year.
