This short term volunteering placement will have Employment and Education themes but with priorities linked to addressing the issue of inclusion and diversity as a societal challenge Supporting the Youth Work Team in Mullingar, you will gain solid experience as a youth and community support across a range of activities in a busy hub in central Mullingar.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
Aimed at local young people aged 18+ who reside in the local area to give priority access to this opportunity. Bikes can be provided to support with transport, and any other challenges with access will be taken under consideration. Food / Refreshments are availabe for all our staff and young people, our volunteers will be included as part of the team. Pocket money and food allowance will be offered and outlined in the Volunteering agreement.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
Advanced planning visits and training is provided for all our volunteers. Those who require accompanying persons will be fully supported. Here you will meet your mentors and other solidarity corps volunteers. We have an in depth induction programme so you will be fully aware of the organisation, the project and your role Daily shadowing, coaching and support will be on offer.
Profil tal-parteċipant
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, help others and offer their own skills and talents in the spirit of Solidarity. Ages 18+ from the local area and knowledge of the youth projects and their purpose. Any skills or talents in the area of Drama, Music, Sport, Art, Digital / Technology / Outdoors would be great - but bring your own magic to our project.
