The French Organization – Youth Information Center is searching for 1 volunteer who would like to join our ESC project « l’Europe à Montauban » from 01.10.2024 to 01.06.2025 (8 months) in Montauban, 50 km north of Toulouse in the Occitanie region in southern France. The city of Montauban wishes to develop information and raise young people’s awareness of international mobility. Aims: - promote European Mobility for young people in Montauban, - discuss topics in relation with the EU in daily life and during special events - give to Montauban’s youngsters the opportunity to exchange with the volunteer on their lives/culture. Activities: - organize events about Europe and about the volunteer’s country - the volunteer will take part in different events and fairs to promote European Solidarity Corps and the Erasmus+ program and encourage local youngsters to go abroad - Sustainable development: protection of ecological balance and promotion of responsible consumption
Настаняване, хранене и транспорт
Accommodation: An independent flat located in the city center not far from workplace. The accommodation costs are covered. Each month volunteer will receive a monthly budget for food and pocket money. The transportation from home country to France and back will be covered according to the distance calculator of Erasmus+ program: https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/resources/distance-calculator_en The local transport: a bicycle will be provided. Обучение по време на дейността
The volunteer will have access to the Online Language Support (OLS) to learn French The volunteer will participate in an on-arrival and a midterm training provided by the French National Agency. Internal trainings are possible (prevention, non-formal learning, etc.) General support: the volunteer will have a mentor to help him/her with any issues and support the learning process.
Профил на участника
The volunteer is expected to have a strong interest in the question of Europe and to be motivated to work with young people. The volunteer is interested in living an intercultural experience, likes human interaction and is willing to learn non formal education methods and carry out activities: workshops, debates, events... Speaking and understanding basic French is recommended and have the will to learn French.
