“All4One” has as main objectives to develop a culture of solidarity, to help the most disadvantaged people and also to increase youth participation. According to a study, the problem of parental crime, family violence, abusive consumption of alcohol and other psychoactive substances is a very significant reality in this location. DOTS established a partnership with the Municipality of Portimão and local civil society organizations to coordinate a social solidarity project that aims to enhance and involve young local and European volunteers in two aspects: 1. Solidarity in Education and 2. Solidarity in Subsistence - volunteers will provide support in the collection of food, in the construction of baskets, in the distribution of food, in the preparation of food. In terms of solidarity in education, volunteers will provide support in recreational and pedagogical activities and in the service developed by DOTS, information on mobility opportunities and European initiatives.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
DOTS will rent a apartment for the volunteers, ensuring health and safety conditions. There will be internet connection so volunteers can more efficiently manage their communication with home, family and friends. The apartment will be located within the city center, a short distance from the DOTS office Regarding food we will suport with food allowance and pocket money. Regarding to transport, we will support, giving a monthly bus pass to the work place if necessary.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
Together with the sending partner organization, we agreed that all selected volunteers will need to have a pre-departure and face-to-face training. We will have an online meetings with the volunteer. In addition to this preparation process, we will have internally at least two interim training related to the volunteer project and several evaluation moments, as well as a final evaluation of the project. We also guarantee the participation of the volunteers in the training provided by the Portuguese National Agency, included in the training cycle.
Profil účastníka
We will give priority to volunteers with few opportunities or in situations of long-term unemployment, We will select the volunteers that are included in the list of volunteers registered in the ESC. The volunteer must be dynamic, motivated and enjoy working in social and solidarity issues, responsible and friendly group, between the ages of 17 and 30. The project also aims to have and promote gender equality. Respecting the policy of gender equality. Our goal in this project is for volunteers to be motivated to participate in many other projects in their cities
