Here's the lowdown on how you can lend a hand at Együttható: Become a Personal Assistant (P.A) for young people with disabilities (imagine movie nights or cultural outings beyond our usual hangouts to make sure everyone joins in on the fun)! Join the 'Almost Saturday' program where you'll be a superhero sidekick to young people with mobility challenges. Organizing local events such as clubs, cultural days, and charity drives can really stimulate your creative ideas. Build connections in the local community (like teaching classes in local schools, giving insights into our programs for the social care system, and visiting institutions that support the local community)! Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
You’ll be sharing a fully furnished flat in Budapest with two other volunteers. The program covers your rent and utilities, including internet, and you'll have your own room. Every month, you'll receive food and pocket money in cash by the 10th, which should cover your basic expenses for the month. Odborná príprava počas činnosti
One training session will be provided by us to help you develop your skills as a personal assistant. You will also receive regular individual mentoring and group mentorship to enhance self-awareness and acquire new competencies. There will be an after-arrival training and a mid-term training provided by NA. We are searching for two more volunteers. Age range: 18-30 years Educational background: ONLY Social Sciences (special education, pedagogy, psychology, sociology, social work, etc.) Tolerance towards different sexual orientations, disabilities, diverse cultures, and various ethnicities, etc. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please review our information pack and complete the application form included. We are seeking volunteers who are willing to assist individuals with disabilities as Personal Assistants. We value volunteers who are open about their needs, bring their own hobbies and interests to share, and take a proactive approach to finding tasks if there is downtime. The volunteer opportunities are typically on weekdays and last around 7 hours, although this may vary. At times, you may need to take the initiative to find tasks and determine where you can help, even if specific assignments are not given to you. We accept volunteers from countries where there is an ESC-accredited sending organization. If we have already engaged a volunteer of a certain nationality, there is a low chance of involving another young person from that country as a volunteer in the same program.
