You will be part of a youth group (16-25yo) with french volunteers, mostly working in pairs, for a project called Ecovolonterre. On Mondays, you will have time for personal or administrative tasks and appointments (e.g. medical appointments). From Tuesday to Friday you will be working on the the project. The project aims to fight against the erosion of biodiversity via nature projects and awareness-raising actions. Concrete actions will be: preservation or management project of a natural space, or participate in the protection of the fauna and flora and their habitats. Example: Planting hedges, restoring ponds, helping with feeding in wildlife conservation centers
Настаняване, хранене и транспорт
The volunteer will share the flat with another European volunteer in different Unis-Cité project and he/she will have his/her own room. The flat is in Saint-Etienne. It is equipped with a fridge, a stove, a washing machine, a microwave and internet. The money will be given at the beginning of each month for the purchase of food in addition of pocket money. And he/she will have an unlimited transit pass to move in Saint-Etienne.
Обучение по време на дейността
Between October and December the volunteers will have 2 hours of french classes per week. The volunteer will participate to the on-arrival and midterm training organized by National Agency. All project long, the volunteer will participate to different trainings, as SDG's training, as Education for Citizenship and International Solidarity's training, etc... For this project especially the volunteer will have trainings about the animation of groups, animation of games, participate in nature projects to preserve biodiversity and eco-actions.
