Help Desk YOUth aims to support youth for a harmonious personal and professional development, especially in terms of career guidance, increasing their socio-professional success. Through the Help Desk YOUth point it will be provided thematic activities, workshops about volunteering, campaigns to inform young people about national / European and international youth opportunities. Also, includes a career guidance programme. Young people will be supported to prepare their CVs, motivation letters, to prepare for an interview, support to look for different youth opportunities and apply. Volunteers will help the organization in thematic activities linked to the project and will be involved in the daily activities of the organization.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
Based on the ESC budget, each volunteer receives 120 Euros/month pocket money and a 150 Euros/month food and basic needs allowance. Volunteers will be accommodated in Targoviste, in triple rooms (non-smokers rooms) with one bathroom per room and access to a common kitchen. The travel to Romania and back will be reimbursed based on the travel documents and program rules. Volunteers will be free during Christmas, Easter holidays and other legal days.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
Volunteers will receive pre-departure training which will be provided by support and hosting organization. At the start of the volunteering program the training will be continued with thematic sessions carried out by volunteer coordinator. Also volunteers will be involved in an official On-Arrival training carried out by the Romanian National Agency for all international volunteers. The hosting organization will support volunteers with proper preparation to carry out the tasks, with mentoring and constant feedback. Lessons of local language will also be provided.
Profil tal-parteċipant
This volunteering position require interested persons in the field of active citizenship, community development and working with young people. The volunteers must be open-minded, proactive, motivated to learn and develop personally and professionally, also to be a sociable persons and eager to work with young people aged 13-20 years old. Volunteers must be open to move in a small city and support the host organization in its daily work with the local community. English skills, B2 – level is required, also willingness to learn Romanian language.
