For this project we're looking for 6 participants between the ages of 18 and 30 to join us in a project focused on sustainability and natural building. Working in the mountains of Tramonti, a village on the Amalfi Coast, you'll help finalize an eco-building in the forest that teaches about living in nature, outdoor and experiential learning, and sustainable practices. You'll have the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life and immerse yourself in nature, while working and living in a community. In this project, participants will support the development of an eco center located in a chestnut forest together with other activities in the area related to the season. This project is based on the work done in previous projects that happened in 2023-2024. Please mind that travel days will be January 10th and February 15th; for Green travel there are more travel days.

Participants will stay in an appartment with all facilities, sharing the room with other 3-4 people. There will be a walking distance to get to the work site and the nearest grocery shop. For food supply, the participant will get fresh goods coming from our community garden and the community grocery provided by the organisation. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to the ESC guidelines. Travel budget can be slightly higher than for Green travel (according to the ESC guide).

Participants will be introduced and guided through all activities. They will learn practical skills on natural building techniques. Learning outcomes include understanding of sustainable living, teamwork, community life and resilience.
Profil tal-parteċipant
We are looking for participants that are ready to embrace community living, not intimidated by living away from urban areas and to get their hands dirty while working in nature. Participants should also be prepared for physical work. Previous experience is helpful for this project. Participants will need to be available for the exact activity period.
