Opis
Green & Slow project is led by the NGO Okograf, which is committed to sharing and promoting sustainable values such as recycling, social entrepreneurship, creativity, and non-formal learning methods. Currently, the organization's main project focuses on a village house located in Szederkény, a village near the city of Pécs (both long- and short-term volunteers are based in Pécs). The idea is to renovate and transform this house into a community space that will serve not only future volunteers but also act as a social hub for developing projects that connect local traditions and people with international volunteers. The organization regularly hosts short-term volunteering projects. Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
3 volunteers will live in the urban area in separated rooms close to the city centre in Pécs. There is internet connection in the house and all equipment in kitchen, washing machine, oven, fridge, hair dryer, beds, bed sheets, bed clothes and towels. Each volunteer get one set of key to the house. The two female volunteers live together in one room, while one male volunteer lives in the other room. The kitchen and bathroom are shared. The volunteers food related costs is covered until 150 euro in each month. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Volunteers get 6 euro pocket per day.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
There will be two training sessions organized by the National Agency. Training costs will be reimbursed.

Do you speak a bit English? Are you open for new culture? Are you motivated and interested for the topic of this project? Do you like to learn new skills, methods, behaviours? Are you enthusiastic to learn and use the Hungarian language which one of the most difficult languages in Europe? If yes, this can be a perfect project for you! Topic priorities in the selection: art, creativity, interest in gardening, interest in traditional architecture, good work ethic, diligence.
