Do you love nature and being outdoors? Do you want to make a difference for nature and the local community? Than you are the volunteer we are looking for! The visitor center ‘Landschap De Liereman’ is located near Turnhout, a small city in the north of Belgium. The center is connected to ‘Landschap De Liereman’ one of the oldest recognized nature reserves in Belgium and operates under the flag of Natuurpunt, the largest nature organization of Flanders. We stand up for nature and biodiversity and strive to protect open space and the quality of the environment. We are looking for 3 volunteers who love nature and being outdoors, enjoy meeting new people and working as a team with other volunteers, are willing to learn new skills, take initiative, like to think out of the box, have a flexible attitude and are responsible. Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
You will stay in safe accommodations in and around Turnhout. In winter, you will live in the city center near shops. In summer, you will move to a location outside the city, closer to nature. You will be co-housing with the other ESC volunteers. The accommodations have separate bedrooms and a shared bathroom, kitchen and living room. We offer you a bike to explore the area and reach the visitor center. The bike will also be your main means of transport. You will receive pocket money and a food allowance.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
You will receive on-the-job training from our staff and volunteers. You will be involved in various tasks and projects but also take initiative. The volunteering project also gives you the opportunity to join an on-arrival and mid-term training, organized by the national agency.

We are looking for volunteers between the ages of 18 and 30 years who love nature and being outdoors, enjoy meeting new people and working as a team with other volunteers, are willing to learn new skills, take initiative, like to think out of the box, have a flexible attitude and are responsible.
