We are looking for creative and motivated volunteers specializing in communication and social media to join our collective in Fryshuset’s International Department. Your role will be key in expanding our digital presence and making sure our content reaches a diverse audience. Volunteer tasks include: • Managing and optimizing our communication channels (LinkedIn, Fryshuset newsletter and website) • Creating and posting engaging content, including photos, videos and articles about our events • Raising awareness about Fryshuset’s International department projects and activities As a part of our team, you will be involved in the work of the International department, contributing your ideas to strengthen Fryshuset’s social impact. We will provide you with guidance and support to learn, grow and develop your skills in communication and digital marketing.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
All costs are covered by the European Solidarity Corps program. Accommodation will be found by Fryshuset. Food and pocket money we will transfer to volunteers` bank accounts monthly.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
You will get 2 trainings during your volunteering, once you arrive, the Swedish National Agency will organize on-arrival and mid-term training. Also, there will be an online Swedish course for the volunteers.
Profil tal-parteċipant
We are looking for: • Passionate volunteers with experience or education in communication and social media marketing; • Have a nice understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin) and website management; • Are able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team; • Aged 20-30. Responsibilities to assist with: Managing the website's content strategy, ensuring the information is up-to-date, relevant, and optimized for both SEO and user-friendliness. Creating and updating content on LinkedIn with a focus on communicating Fryshuset's activities and strengthening the brand for a professional audience. Designing and distributing a regular newsletter with updates from Fryshuset's global and local projects. Collaborating with project leaders and management to gather relevant content and position Fryshuset as a leading player in youth work and social innovation. Analyzing web statistics and adjusting content to improve the user experience and increase traffic to the website. Key skills: Strong writing skills and experience writing for digital channels with a focus on SEO. Experience managing company accounts on LinkedIn and building online networks. Proficiency with newsletter platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and the ability to segment and tailor messages to different audiences.
