Alianza por la Solidaridad, member of ActionAid, aims to achieve an active citizenship that fights against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. Alianza's work in Palestine focuses on promoting human rights and combating gender-based violence from a holistic perspective, including awareness-raising, improving opportunities for women and multi-sectoral care for survivors of gender-based violence, among others. Join us at our offices in Palestine! You will have the chance to contribute to improving the processes and procedures related to the administration and finances of the organization together with a professional and experienced team. At the end of your experience, you will be familiar with the preparation of budgets and the financial monitoring and justification of projects as a whole. You will work with local partners in Gaza Strip, West Bank and East Jerusalem. Alianza's partners are among the strongest ones in the context and work with high quality and commitment
Настаняване, хранене и транспорт
You will have the opportunity to live with other people but with individual bedroom. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the organization. A phone card be provided. The house will be in Amman. You will receive a monthly allowance of 790€ for your personal expenses, including food and local transport. There is freedom of movement but always complying with the security directives. You will also be covered with a health insurance (Henner)

You will receive training which will cover topics such as: induction to Alianza por la Solidaridad, induction to the European Solidarity Corps, responsibilities and rights of the organisations and of the volunteer, Youthpass, Henner insurance and SHEA. In addition you will be trained more specifically in feminist principles and other training opportunities which may include: International Humanitarian Law, security management, gender, disabilities, etc.).

We are looking for a person eager to learn and work in a team and able to adapt to a multicultural and diverse environment respecting the different cultures in Palestine and Jordan. Interest in developing skills in administration and finance, familiar with the principles and tools of this discipline. Knowledge in development cooperation, humanitarian aid or any previous experience will be an asset. Fluent in English, able to adapt to complex situations. If you are migrant, live in rural areas, have limited economic support… don´t hesitate to sign up, this opportunity is for everyone!
