Opis
Iceland is a country of extreme geological contrasts. With one of the most geologically and volcanically active landscapes in the world, while being home to the largest glaciers in Europe. Iceland is also the land of light and darkness. Long summer days with near 24-hours of sunshine are offset by short winter days with only a few hours of daylight. Project takes place in Krýsuvík, which is a geothermal and volcanic area in the southwest of Iceland. It is situated on the Reykjanes peninsula, about 35 km from Reykjavík.
