Be You 3x3 Challenge Youth Event is an annual volunteering team event. It will be held in Aninoasa, Dambovita region. The event includes non-formal workshops, youth activities, sports activities, green spaces arrangements, planting and other community activities. We aim at promote active citizenship, well-being, sports practicing, care for nature and environment, promotion of tolerance, diversity and social inclusion. Volunteers primary tasks will involve engaging in development of activities, arrangement of the space (assembling, organizing, and maintaining facilities, planting trees, arranging green spaces) and get involved in community activities.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
The volunteers will be accommodated in Aninoasa, 3-4 persons of the same gender will share a room (non-smokers rooms) with access to a common kitchen. The volunteers will receive an allowance for food and basic necessities (5 euro/day) and pocket money (4 euro/day). The travel to Romania and back will be reimbursed based on the travel documents and program rules.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
Volunteers will attend a pre-departure training before leaving and will be instructed for the activities during the project. Under the guidance of the volunteer coordinator, the volunteers will set learning goals and will learn how to deal with tasks related to the development of activity.
Profil tal-parteċipant
Volunteers should be aged between 18-29. A primary focus is given to participants with fewer opportunities, who will benefit from additional support according to the ESC programme. Requirements: interest in community events, motivation to develop organizational skills, good communication skills, minimum B2 English level, photo-video and team work skills. Artistic abilities in streetdance, theater, music and other art fields are welcomed. Volunteers must be flexible, responsible, positive and energetic as they will be part of an international team and will work in a rural community.
