Come and get to know our youth center and it's surroundings! We will do simple cleaning / maintenance tasks around our youth center and discover the calmness of Finnish Forests meanwhile. There will be a group of 10 volunteers who will work together in this two week long project. You will get to know our youth work and also our outdoor education youth work. We are looking for young people currently unemployed and in a need of an adventure. Write us your CV and application. This project is for residence of EU countries. You have to be motivated, no previous experience needed.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
Accommodation is organized in shared rooms in our Forest Hotel. The forest hotel has a common kitchen and common couch area to hang out. There is also possibility to have sauna by the beach (and swim in the frozen cold lake?). Transportation to the youth center will be organized together, arrivals must be to KUOPIO at the same time. For some people it might be necessary to stay overnight in Helsinki on the way because Metsäkartano is far away. Prepare for a long travel but a very unique and beautiful destination! Especially if you like nature and to deconnect from cities, etc.!
Taħriġ matul l-attività
Volunteers will get guidance to their work tasks. There will always be a work leader who is a staff member of Metsäkartano. There is also a leader that is helping the volunteers to find fun activities to their free time and helping with communication and team-building with the group. Volunteers will be helped by the project coordinator to search the travel options and tickets to Finland and to Metsäkartano.

We are looking for MOTIVATED volunteers who can be FULLY committed to take part of the activity. We can host volunteers who need personal support as well, but we have to know about the special needs beforehand. We value equality and diversity in our work community. We welcome applicants from different backgrounds, such as people of different genders, and members of different language, cultural or minority groups.
