The kindergarden Rosentalzwerge is centrally located in an old Villa in an historic District of Leipzig. We have a total of 141 children in care. The families come from many different countries and now have their center of life in Leipzig. We have almost 30 employees: educators, trainees, housekeeping staff, interns and volunteers. Not far away is the Rosental, an extensive forest and park area. There we spend a lot of time with the children to discover nature, run around, climb and romb and play. Behind our house is a small garden with a sandpit, a tree house and a mud path. This is a nice refreshment for the children, especially in summer. Nature plays a major role in our concept. Our children spend most of the days in the Rosental-Park and use it as a play, exercise and educational space. They have everything with them on a handcart that is useful for playing outside. In the garden we have bushes and trees with sweet fruits and we grow vegetables ourselves.

We provide you with a furnished room in a shared apartment with a shared kitchen and bathroom. For your meals you will receive a financial allowance. You will also receive a financial amount with which you can buy a ticket for the tram in Leipzig. Optionally and if you want, we provide you with a bicycle to explore the city and the surrounding.

In addition to the National Agency seminars, there is an educational seminar day once a month with your tutor and other volunteers. Here, we exchange information about your work and everyday life and combine this with excursions, educational content or experiential educational activities. In addition, you will receive a language course based on your individual language level.
Profil tal-parteċipant
When you come to us at the daycare center, you will support the educators in their work. You help with the care and accompaniment of the children, help with the nursing tasks and over the time you take on more and more responsibility. You will be part of a team of educators and plan the day / week / kindergarten year with them. You can also take part in projects with the children and contribute your ideas. It would be fine if you bring with you at minimum a basic knoweledge of the german language. And you should bring the following with you: - Motivation - A desire to learn and gain new experiences - Interest in other people - Empathy - Intercultural skills - Openness towards other socialisation backgrounds and world views - Desire to exchange ideas and develop your own personality
