“Health & Nature” is an individual volunteering project, which will take place in Tryavna and Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria in 2025. Start: April - May 2025 Length: 6-8 months Are you into any of the following: ecology, upcycling, sport, healthy lifestyle, cinema, photography, video making,media? This is your project, if you want to: * show your concern of nature; * organise games, educational and entertaining activities and take responsibility; * express your creativity; * participate and organise festivals; * learn about sustainability, zero waste, zero footprint, healthy lifestyle; * teach other people how to take care of the Earth in daily life; * work with kids/ young people; * make a positive change in your own life; * hike and travel; * believe your small everyday steps matter on global scale; * want to be a part of a team and not just a volunteer in an organisation; * enjoy some time in Bulgaria! Настаняване, хранене и транспорт
Accommodation: A flat in Veliko Tarnovo - cultural and historical capital of Bulgaria. A very vibrant place, where you will have the chance to communicate with many young people from Bulgaria and abroad. Pocket money and money for food are provided thans to the European Solidarity Corps Programme. We also often gather an cook to each other, share recipes and internationa cuisine. Transport: Travel costs are covered according to a limit set by the programme.

You will have the chance to develop: English language and Bulgarian language skills; Video making and influencing; Learn about healthy lifestyle in general - food, sport, healthy habits; Build many eco friendly habits; Learn about environment; Learn how to organise non-formal educational and entertaining activities for kids and young people; Go through some workshops to develop some practical skills - soap making, work with clay and wood, etc.

We are not looking for workers to follow orders. We would really love to have motivated and self-initiative people, who have desire to develop and give as much as they can to contribute to our organisational work and at the same time to their own personal and professional progress. So, being positive and active is our priority. Positive qualities are also if you are interested in any of the following: sport, healthy lifestyle, media, cinema, cycling, video making, photography, work with kids and youngsters, art, design, ecology. Don't worry! We do not expect you to be into all of these, but we have diverse activities and it is possible for each of you to fit somewhere and find their place to feel comfortable.
