Rural Youth Event is a volunteering team activity that will take place in Aninoasa village, Dambovita region. The event will include community support actions, non-formal activities, artistic and sports activities, green space arrangements, and the redesign of various public areas in Aninoasa. The project promotes active community involvement, care for nature and the environment, and the value of social inclusion. Volunteers will contribute to the development and implementation of community activities, help organize and maintain public spaces, arrange green areas, and support local initiatives aimed at improving village life. The experience offers a meaningful way to engage with the local community while fostering teamwork, creativity, and environmental awareness.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
The volunteers will be accommodated in Aninoasa, 3-4 persons of the same gender will share a room (non-smokers rooms) with access to a common kitchen. The volunteers will receive an allowance for food and basic necessities (5 euro/day) and pocket money (4 euro/day). The travel to Romania and back will be reimbursed based on the travel documents and program rules.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
Volunteers will attend a pre-departure training before leaving and will be instructed for the activities during the project. Under the guidance of the volunteer coordinator, the volunteers will set learning goals and will learn how to deal with tasks related to the development of activity.
Profil tal-parteċipant
Volunteers should be aged between 18-29. A primary focus is given to participants with fewer opportunities who will benefit from additional support according to the ESC programme. Requirements: interest in community events, motivation to develop organizational skills, good communication skills, minimum B2 English level and team work skills. Volunteers must be flexible, responsible, willing to live in a rural area with limited resources, positive and energetic as they will be part of an international team and will work in a rural community.
