Deskrizzjoni
SPW is an NGO that promotes international volunteering, intercultural education and active citizenship. We organize and coordinate volunteering projects in Poland and support polish youth to join projects abroad. Examples of volunteer's tasks: - Education: promoting ESC opportunities among youth; creating informational content about ESC; supporting the other office volunteer with making content for presentations and workshops in schools; - ESC: supporting communication with candidates for ESC during recruitment, preparing materials such as infopacks, welcome packs, website content; - Social media content creation: supporting the team in creating posts for social media and our website; promoting SPW’s actions and broadcasting from the projects (taking photos, recording videos, video editing etc.); posting offers about available projects in our partner organizations; making reels and posts for Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, Facebook; Infopack: https://www.spw.ngo/warsaw-office
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
- Accommodation: Single bedroom in a shared flat - Local transport: Volunteer receives city transport pass which allows to use all means of public transport in Warsaw - Food: Each volunteer receives 150 EUR per month and is cooking on their own in the flat - Pocket money: 180 EUR/month - International travel: reimbursement up to 211 EUR, 309 EUR or 395 EUR depending on the distance* - Language support: access to an online language course (EU Academy) provided by the program * a little extra fund is possible in case of "green travel"
Taħriġ matul l-attività
- Orientation training (coordinating organization): introduction to the project, getting to know the cooridinators and the organization, integration with other volunteers, planning) - On-arrival training (National Agency): Getting to know Poland, ESC introduction (5 days) - Mid-term evaluation meeting (National Agency, 5 days) - Final evaluation (coordinating organization) - Evaluation meetings/trainings (coordinating organization): intercultural education, learning, cultural adaptation, communication (1 day, once every two months)
Profil tal-parteċipant
Participant profile: - good interpersonal and communication skills, doesn't mind to appear on posts/videos/websites - willing to participate in group activities, friendly - fine with talking with other people (making interviews with other volunteers, supporting meetings with candidates, answering questions), willing to initiate contact - good level of English - knows basics of social media to create posts about SPW’s actions - Youtube, Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, has own ideas for content - interested in graphic design, able to create visual content (infopacks, flyers, stickers, video-editing) - creative, having initiative and ideas, flexible (able to enjoy different types of activities - from office work to workshops and social gatherings) - reliable and diligent
