LAST MINUTE CALL! Join us in Slovenia and dive into the woods of one of the most forested countries in Europe. Slovenian forests cover more than a half of the country and represent an essential landscape element. During our Teams Volunteering Project, we will spend a lot of quality time in the forest, situated next to our organic farm. Supported by professional mentors and collaborators, we will observe it, and enjoy it's wildlife. We will also do physical work in the forest - maintaining the undergrowth, collecting brambles and branches, storing and chopping the wood, and transporting in to the farm. Together, we will dive into the magic world of WOODCRAFT, learning, trying and discovering all sorts of creative ways of how to use the local wood for structural, constructional and aesthetic interventions at the farm. Among others, we will make up a lot of benches to sit, and build up a traditional well for daily use of our fabulous groundwater.

You will be accommodated in the gymnasium of the local school. Each participant will be able to use one gymnastics mat as a mattress. Same-sex shared bathrooms will be at your disposal, with 3 showers/toilets for women and 3 for men. Hot water is ensured all the time. The school is 7 minutes walking distance from the ecological farm of Zelena centrala, where all of our activities will be held. The gymnasium and its facilities will be accessible to all participants 24/7 through the entire period. We provide 100% organic and local food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Green travels guaranteed.

The obstacles are only the additional incentives for your creativity, and you are not afraid of physical work outdoors - meaning also adapting to the unpredictable summer weather conditions? You should not be afraid of nature, team work, and of living in a rural place, away from the city comforts.
