The collaboration of CITAP(Berzosa foster home) as a host entity,together with the Parkeri NGO https://www.instagram.com/asociacionparkeri/ )as the coordinator NGO, we are looking for 2 volunteers, from October 2025 until 31 July 2026. The main aim of the project is to support educators of CITAP working with children and teenagers that may be in a vulnerable situation and at a social exclusion risk. They are also dealing with mental health issues. The project tasks include supporting children and teenagers with their daily life routine: lunch, homework, house-maintenance and workshops on carpentry, body expression or sports to be developed with the beneficiaries.

We are located in a very small village, Serrada de la Fuente, Madrid, Spain. Serrada de la Fuente is located one hour and a half by car from Madrid city center and 3 hours away by public transport. Serrada de la Fuente is a beautiful area in the mountains in Madrid, totally rural with 80 inhabitants ( https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serrada_de_la_Fuente ). Parkeri NGO will be in charge of accommodation (one house for you and other volunteers to live), for food and transport arrangements according to the European Solidarity Corps standards.

Parkeri NGO staff are experts on the European Solidarity Corps (trainers on the Programme since 2014), so constant support will be provided to the volunteers. Mandatory trainings, like On Arrival training and Mid Term Evaluation, will be developed according to the Spanish National Agency calendar. Learning support will be provided and Youthpass will be given at the end of the volunteers' projects. We will also offer the volunteers to participate in trainings connected with non-violent communication, sociocracy and other non-formal education trainings/activities.

Due to the nature of this volunteer project, in a rural area and that will work with young people in risk of exclusion, we need: - High motivation to accompany children and youngsters in their daily life activities with a caring and supportive approach - Person committed and mature to hold maybe difficult situations - Negative certificate of sexual misdemeanors - Negative certificate of criminal/penal misdemeanors - High motivation to develop the project in a rural area in the mountains. In Parkeri, we believe in INCLUSION, GENDER EQUITY, SOCIAL JUSTICE, SUSTAINABILITY and we have an ANTI-RACIST and DECREASING approach as organization principles.
