The project PLAY – Participation, Learning, Action, Youth will take place in the town of Arcos de Valdevez, in the north of Portugal, from 31st July to 1st September 2025. It is designed to offer an enriching international volunteering experience to young people motivated to make a difference through creativity, cooperation, and solidarity. Volunteers will be involved in non-formal education activities with children and young people aged 6 to 15, within the framework of our Summer Camps. They will co-create workshops and playful activities around topics such as environment, active citizenship, cultural expression, and community awareness. Volunteers will also support the preparation of local events and help disseminate the work through social media (photos/videos). All volunteers will be supported by experienced youth workers throughout the project and will receive a Youthpass certificate and an official ESC certificate at the end of their volunteering journey.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
Accommodation: Pousadinha (a small house that belongs to the organization). The volunteers may have to share the room (with another volunteer with the same gender). Food: Lunch and afternoon snacks during the week will be under the organization’s responsibility. For the rest of the meals, we will give 125€/month to each volunteer for groceries and/or restaurants. Pocket money: 6€/day given to the volunteers at the beginning of each month.

Profil tal-parteċipant
- 18 to 30 years - dynamic - creative - able to work in a team - open-minded - sense of initiative - able to adapt to new situations - with a good level of English, Spanish, or Portuguese - willing to work with youngsters and children - willing to develop their activities - good communication skills The volunteer should be prepared to take part in all the steps of the volunteer process and assume the commitment of attending the duration of the project.
