Opis
The EYOF Skopje 2025 Volunteer Project is organized by Volunteers Centre Skopje in cooperation with the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). It invites young people aged 18 to 30 to volunteer at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje, North Macedonia, in July 2025. EYOF is the largest multi-sport event for youth athletes in Europe, with around 4,000 participants from 50 countries competing in 14 sports. Volunteers will support the event in various roles such as logistics, administration, marketing, and athlete assistance. The project offers accommodation, meals, insurance, pocket money, and transportation. Volunteers receive training and practical experience while promoting intercultural exchange, personal growth, and active citizenship. They also get to explore the culture and nature of Skopje and North Macedonia.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
Volunteers will stay in the “Pelagonija” student dormitory in Kisela Voda, Skopje, close to the office. Rooms are shared by 4 people and include WiFi, laundry, blankets, and bed sheets. Bring your own towel. Meals are provided at the dorm or workplace. The dorm is 20 minutes from the city center, near markets and restaurants. Please inform us in advance about any dietary restrictions or allergies, as Macedonian food is meat- and dairy-heavy.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
Volunteers will receive comprehensive training before and during the project. This includes preparation sessions to learn about their roles, responsibilities, routes, and the event’s venues. Training covers teamwork, communication, and cultural awareness to ensure effective support during EYOF Skopje 2025. Continuous guidance and support will be provided throughout the project to help volunteers develop new skills and confidently perform their tasks.
Profil účastníka
The project is open to young people aged 18 to 30 who are motivated, open-minded, and eager to learn new skills. No previous experience is required—just a willingness to volunteer, work in a team, and adapt to a multicultural environment. Participants should be flexible, responsible, and ready to engage in various tasks related to the European Youth Olympic Festival 2025 in Skopje. Basic English skills are recommended.
