Located in the city of Mont-de-Marsan, in the South West of France, the Pôle Jeunesse is the resource center for young people aged 11-30 in the area. As part of its territorial strategy, it holds several responsibilities, including youth policy. The volunteer will be mainly involved with Info Jeunes and promoting youth mobility in the Mont-de-Marsan Agglomération area. Responsibilities include: contributing to a social study alongside other volunteers and the University of Bordeaux to better understand youth needs and develop relevant actions; creating content for social media and podcasts to engage and inform young people; keeping a personal journal to document the experience and inspire others; helping to organize and lead events focused on mobility, Europe, and citizenship; providing information, advice, and support to young people interested in going abroad; actively participating, taking part in intercultural projects, local events to encourage dialogue and civic engagement
Настаняване, хранене и транспорт
Independent accommodation in a student residence with private sanitary facilities (furnished with shared kitchen). Transportation is covered (bus card and bicycle available). Monthly pocket money. European card offering discounts throughout Europe. Health insurance.
Обучение по време на дейността
Participation in the trainings organised by the National Agency (on arrival and mid-term). Many other trainings will be proposed to the volunteer to discover and get trained to various topics

Be aged between 18 and 30 years. Be comfortable with social media. Have an interest in social issues. Be comfortable in front of an audience. Have basic knowledge of French.
