Do you believe in the ancient Greek wisdom “A healthy mind in a healthy body”? We do — and we believe that sports should be for everyone, regardless of abilities. That’s why we created the project: This ESC volunteering project brings together young people from across Europe to participate in a program of inclusion, empathy, and movement. Volunteers will support the organisation and participation in inclusive sports and cultural activities designed for both sighted and visually impaired individuals. Activities include: 🏓 Showdown 🚲 Tandem cycling in pairs 🏔️ Inclusive mountain hiking 💃 Traditional Bulgarian folk dance The program is open to people aged 18–30, who are ready to explore the world not just with their eyes, but with empathy and care. 👉 Applications are accepted only through the application form at the following link: https://forms.gle/GnuVANz2erpjjKXy6
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
🏠 Accommodation – Free shared apartment/hostel in Sofia, with linen, towels, and Wi-Fi included. 💸 Allowance – 9 EUR/day for food + 7 EUR/day pocket money (paid in cash or via bank transfer). 🚋 Transport – A full-access public transport card (metro, buses, trolleys) is provided.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
🌱 Training – Blended path covering: On-arrival induction: ESC rights, basic Bulgarian, safety. Inclusive logistics: accessibility, empathy, eco-practices. Social media & storytelling: Reels/TikTok, branding, photo & video editing. Cultural exchange: Bulgarian dances, sports techniques, integration activities
Profil účastníka
✅ Aged between 18 and 30 ✅ Legally resident in an EU country or a country participating in the ESC programme ✅ Motivated to support social inclusion and solidarity ✅ Interested in sports, movement, and inclusive physical activities ✅ Willing to work with people with visual impairments ✅ Open-minded, empathetic, and responsible ✅ Team players who enjoy communication and shared experiences ✅ No previous experience in volunteering or inclusive sports is required – just your motivation and willingness to learn!
