Alianza-ActionAid aims to achieve an active citizenship that fights against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. It fights to eradicate gender-based violence, for migrants' rights and for climate justice. Join us at our headquarters in Madrid! You will have the chance to work hand in hand with the finance coordinator of the volunteer programme of Alianza. You will support the financial and administrative operations of international volunteering projects, ensuring the correct allocation and use of resources, and complying with applicable internal and external regulations. You will have the chance to support the elaboration of financial reports, ensure the correct physical archiving of all supporting documents, assisting in the preparation and monitoring of project budget, assist in the preparation of accounting documentation for internal and external audits, and others. You will become familiar with the administrative and financial management of projects
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
You will have the opportunity to live together with other volunteers of different nationalities in a shared flat. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the hosting organization and free Wi-fi will be provided. You will receive pocket money and food money per month as well as for transport. Travel costs from country of origin to the country of hosting organization will be covered by the organization itself and you will be covered by the Henner insurance.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
The volunteer will receive a training which will cover topics such as: introduction to Alianza por la Solidaridad, introduction to the European Solidarity Corps, responsibilities of the organisations, Youthpass, Henner insurance, motivations, cultural immersion, etc. In addition, you will participate in two Spanish National Agency trainings together with other international volunteers in Spain. In case language support is needed, the volunteer will have free access to online language training (OLS) and you will count with the support of other volunteers.
Profil tal-parteċipant
At Alianza por la Solidaridad we are looking for an outgoing, fiendly and curious person, and keen to meet knew people, socialise and experience a different culture. Motivation to collaborate and to acquire knowledge and skills related to the administrative and financial management of projects. Interest in developing administration, management and task planning skills. Knowledge of Spanish will be required as the work will mainly be in Spanish. Studies on careers related to Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields will be an asset. If you are migrant, live in rural areas, have limited economic support or any other don´t hesitate to sign up, this opportunity is for everyone!
