Описание
Through this position we want promote civic education and youth participation as pillars for revitalising our communities. If we do not prioritize working with children and youth, providing them with spaces to live, play and work, we will have a community of elderly residents that will not have a bright future. Except through delivering activities in schools, volunteers will work on online content, such as online campaigns, educational articles, videos and other interactive content adapted to children and youth. The goal is to promote digital transition and digital tools as a means for learning. Topics that we will cover will follow dimensions of civic education, so we will cover political literacy, human-legal dimension, social, intercultural, ecological and economic dimension. Strong emphasis will be on volunteering as a means for participation, tool for strenghtening cohesion and solidarity in community, and a way for making positive impact in the community.
Настаняване, хранене и транспорт
During your stay in Petrinja you'll be accommodated in the ''volunteer flat'' that has shared bedrooms(2 persons per room), kitchen, living room, bathroom, 3 balconies and WIFI . All house utensils are provided by the hosting organization (towels, bed sheets and similar).The apartment is located 7-10 minutes by foot from the main working premises.For transportation to/from activities we use the company van or local buses. You'll receive a monthly allowance - pocket money and living costs to manage your food and daily life. All costs of transport, accommodation and living are covered by the HO.
