Deskrizzjoni

Alianza por la Solidaridad, a member of ActionAid, aims to achieve active citizenship that fights against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. It carries out development cooperation and education projects to eradicate gender-based violence, defend migrants' rights. The volunteer will take part in cooperation and humanitarian aid projects, providing valuable support in preparing project budgets and ensuring proper financial follow-up and updates. They will help manage key financial information such as invoices, receipts, and contracts — and assist in reviewing expenses and other financial documents.The volunteer will also contribute to the preparation of financial reports, support audit processes, and participate in field activities to gather information and monitor project implementation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the transparency and accountability of humanitarian projects while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit financial management.

You will have the opportunity to live in a house with a private room, access to shared services, Wi-Fi, a mobile communication card, and the residence is close to the office with convenient access to local transportation. You will receive a monthly allowance of 607,98€ for your personal expenses, including food and local transport. You will also be able to interact with the communities where we carry out our projects

Taħriġ matul l-attività

You will receive comprehensive training that will cover topics such as an introduction to Alianza por la Solidaridad and the European Solidarity Corps, as well as the roles, rights, and responsibilities of both the organization and the volunteer. The training will also include sessions on Youthpass, Henner insurance, and Safeguarding, Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse (SHEA). You will learn about the importance of administrative and financial management in cooperation and humanitarian aid projects, and you will participate in specific training sessions on feminist leadership, monitoring.

Profil tal-parteċipant

We are looking for a volunteer eager to learn, collaborate within a team, and adapt to the local context. An interest in learning about administrative and financial topics is essential. Studies or experience in economic monitoring, accounting, or administration will be considered an asset. A minimum of an elementary level of Spanish is required. This is a volunteering opportunity open to everyone: if you are a migrant, live in rural areas, have limited economic resources, or face any other challenges, don’t hesitate to apply this experience is designed to be inclusive and accessible.
