Opis
The volunteers will participate in the daily activities of the foundation assets at the Casa dos Maza in Cambados. This means working in nature and supporting our volunteers with nature conservation and restoration, taking care of Casa dos Maza and its garden. * Organic Farming: Engage in daily farming activities like planting, weeding, harvesting, and processing various crops to learn and experience about crop rotation, permaculture, and sustainable soil management. * Guided Visits to Foundation Assets: Support monthly guided visits to Casa dos Maza, providing information about the history of the house and showcasing its facilities and surroundings to visitors. * Awareness Raising on Cultural Heritages: Contribute to our awareness-raising campaign on cultural heritage by assisting in content development for our website, managing social media campaigns, and engaging in face-to-face interactions with young people in Cambados.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
The volunteering project will take place in Cambados, Pontevedra- Spain. has all the conditions to embrace this project, which makes a pleasant location for the volunteers and benefits local population, who gains with the experience, ac.vi.es and knowledge exchanges brought by volunteers. Volunteers will be hosted in a private house/ apartment with two/three beds per room, located in Cambados. Each volunteer will have house with all the facilities (fridge, washing machine, furniture, bedroom clothes, cutlery),ensuring a nice, safe and pleasant experience.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
Organic Farming: Volunteers will engage in daily farming activities like planting, weeding, harvesting, and processing various crops. They will learn about crop rotation, permaculture, and sustainable soil management. Youth Fair: The foundation will host organisations that provide services for young people with the participation of NGOs, governmental organisations, schools and private companies. During the fair, the organisations will introduce their services, experiences, tools and methodologies, opportunities for young people.
Profil účastníka
This European Solidarity Corps opportunity is open to all young people from Programme Countries between the age of 18 - 30 years old. Volunteers will be selected in a fair, transparent and objective way, no matter their ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or political opinion. The selection process will be done with the cooperation between supporting organization and the hosting organization. Someone who: is ready to work with children, young people and local communities is creative, communicative and open-minded is positive and proactive is adaptable and flexible is able to work as a part of a team can plan, organise and manage activities
