From 18 February to 20 March 2026, young people can take part in a group volunteering project at the Youth Academy Walberberg. During this time, they will work together on practical, hands-on projects connected to climate protection, biodiversity, and sustainability. The group setting allows participants to support each other, share experiences, and build international friendships. Volunteers will stay with host families in Brühl, giving them the chance to experience everyday life in the community and learn about local climate initiatives. Main Activities & Focus Areas Practical, hands-on work on ecological projects at the Youth Academy Walberberg International exchange with young people from different European countries and Germany Accommodation with a host family in Brühl and insights into local climate protection activities Group trips to Cologne and Bonn
Настаняване, хранене и транспорт
Participants will stay with host families in Brühl, which gives them the chance to experience everyday life in the local community and get to know local climate protection projects. Accommodation, meals, and the programme are provided free of charge as part of the volunteering project. Participants also receive a small pocket money

Young people aged 18–30 from different European countries and Germany who are interested in international exchange, practical outdoor work, and ecological topics are welcome to apply. All young people are invited to join, including those who may need language support or accessible accommodation.
