Youth and Sports Volunteers in Taekwondo

Deskrizzjoni
The volunteering activity will take place in Alanya / Antalya during the Türkiye Taekwondo Championships and will last approximately 10 days. Volunteers from different countries will support a large national sports event with participants coming from many cities across Türkiye. Volunteers will assist with the organisation of the championships, including: -Supporting the preparation and arrangement of competition areas -Assisting the organising team according to equipment and venue needs -Helping athletes and participants when support is needed -Supporting the daily flow of the championships -Taking part in cultural exchange activities and workshops This activity offers volunteers the opportunity to gain experience in a major sports event and work in an international environment.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
Volunteers will arrive in Alanya / Antalya, where accommodation will be provided within walking distance of the sports hall. Rooms will be shared by 2–3 volunteers of the same gender. Volunteers will receive a daily pocket allowance and meals or a food allowance during the activity. Travel costs and related payments will be reimbursed shortly after arrival. At the end of the activity, volunteers will return to their countries from Alanya / Antalya.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
Volunteers will receive an orientation training after arrival, including a brief city tour and an introduction to the organisation and facilities. Basic information about daily tasks, working areas and local services will be provided. Task-related training will be given by the responsible staff during the activity. Participant profile We are looking for 11 volunteers who possess the following skills: Patient Teamwork, Adaptability to flexible working hours, a smiling and sportive personality, knowledge and experience in sports courses and youth activities, with no obstacles to travel, and an open mind to innovation and progress.
