Opis

This opportunity involves working with several other volunteers to help with the following: 1. Helping foreign workers as a part of "New Neighbors" project: assisting the Croatian teacher during class, interaction and practical help to foreign workers. 2. Working with the elderly in the framework of "Silver Generation" project: - organizing workshops (including digital literacy) - short trips - organize game nights - help organize physical activities - help with cleaning, shopping and other everyday chores 3. Other activities currently taking place at the House of Hope

Ubytovanie, strava a doprava

The House of Hope has its own guest house with rooms for 2-3 people, clean, nice, shared shower and fully equipped kitchen. You will receive pocket money for each day of the project. You will receive money for food for the duration of the project. Travel expenses are covered up to a certain limit depending on your destination

Odborná príprava počas činnosti

1. General online training. 2. Online language support. 3. Mentoring help and support.

Profil účastníka

We are looking for young people 18-30 years of age, EU residents who are: 1. Enjoy working with people. 2. Enjoy helping the elderly. 3. Have broad worldview and willingness to work with diverse people. 4. Tolerant to other cultures. 5. Responsible 6. Good team players. 7. Flexible and open to changes.
