The Local Development Agency of Alzira - IDEA is looking for a volunteer for a long-term project in Alzira, Spain. Under ‘Solidarity with Youth Employment’ activity volunteers will be active in developing projects in the fields of youth, urban/rural development, communication and information for young people. Through these activities, we hope to promote European mobility programs among locals. Volunteers participating in this activity will have the opportunity to play an active role in the execution of IDEA activities which are focused on the unemployed and young people who have difficulties with finding a secure position in the labour market.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
The accommodation is covered by the coordinating organization. The volunteer will share a fully-equipped flat with other participants and will have their own bedroom. The volunteer receives a fixed amount of a monthly support allowance and pocket money (180 and 150 Euros).
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
The volunteer’s sending organization will share more information on the European Solidarity Corps programme. The volunteer will also participate in the on-arrival and mid-term trainings by the Spanish National Agency. In addition, the participant will have the opportunity to take Spanish classes 3 hours per week.
Profil účastníka
We are looking for an outgoing young person between 18 to 30 years old who is interested in the field of youth, European values and policies. The applicant must demonstrate a working level of English, and should not have taken part in other European Solidarity Corps activities longer than 2 months.
