Join Our Volunteer Renovation Team to restore a monumental WWII era complex. We’re looking for 6 enthusiastic volunteers to help bring new life to a remarkable WWII-era building — a unique Heimatstil-style bunker disguised as a traditional Brabant farmstead. You’ll take part in hands-on restoration work such as: 🎨 Painting shutters 🪟 Removing old paint from windows 🔧 Assisting with pipe and infrastructure repairs No prior experience needed — just energy, teamwork, and a willingness to get your hands dirty! The accommodation is at BioArt Village, a beautiful location surrounded by a forest inside the city of Eindhoven. The place is off-grid, fulfilling basic needs, and participants must approach this with a non-wasteful mindset. Common areas include the living room, kitchen, shower and toilets. In addition to pocket money, you also receive food money, so basic cooking skills are necessary.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
No specific experience is needed—just a love of living in an offgrid, forest environment, a willingness to work physically, and an open mindset. You’ll gain practical experience and learn about preparing old buildings for renovation, and contribute to a meaningful project. Keep in mind that it can be cold in the Netherlands.
Profil tal-parteċipant
We’re especially looking for volunteers who are curious about practical work, and can thrive in a team while also being self-reliant. Resilience, motivation, and a positive attitude are essential. We warmly welcome applicants with fewer opportunities, and we ask that all participants are in good mental and physical health, and are able to commit to a stay of at least 15 days. Because you will be living in a dormitory setting, keeping the place (for example kitchen and living area) clean together.
