The project will be implemented under the Rēzekne City Council Administration Social Department and will take place in two structural units: 1. Pensioners’ Day Center (active seniors). 2. Multifunctional Social Services Center of the Rēzekne State City Council Administration “Social Service” (people with dissabilities). The project is developed within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) principles and aims to promote solidarity, intercultural dialogue, tolerance, and active participation in society, especially in the Latgale region of Rēzekne. The project aims to promote volunteering activities among seniors, people with disabilities, while strengthening solidarity, breaking stereotypes, and fostering intercultural understanding in the local community. Through the involvement of international volunteers, the project will create meaningful intercultural learning opportunities both for local citizens and for volunteers, enriching social life in the region.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
European Association "World-Our Home" will provide volunteers with accommodation in a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment in Rēzekne. Two volunteers will share the flat, each having a separate bedroom. Volunteers will receive monthly pocket money and a food allowance according to ESC programme rules, as well as a monthly local public transport ticket.

Age: 18–30 years Skills & Interests: Social work, volunteering, intercultural exchange; any creative or practical skills (art, music, languages, sports) are welcome Personal Qualities: Flexible, responsible, patient and open to cultural diversity Tasks: Support activities in the Pensioners’ Day Center and Multifunctional center for disabled people, organize workshops and cultural events, assist in daily routines and promote solidarity and European values.
